After Cristiano scored two goals in Portugal’s win over the Netherlands, helping his country to qualify for the quarterfinals, he took off his jersey to reveal a very special dedication on his under layer. It read, “Junior, papá loves you. Congratulations.” And he also drew smiley faces as well!
Cris made sure to show off the shirt to the cameras once the final whistle blew.
After the game, Cris confirmed that it was Junior’s birthday and so the goals and his trophy as man of the match were dedicated to his son. He said, “it makes me especially happy to have achieved it for him.” I adore papá Cristiano!
