#22 with 20 days to go…

How can you not like the man who has brought hearts and kisses to Real Madrid?  Ángel di María usually celebrates his goals by making a heart shape with his hands, with the heart symbolizing his love for wife Jorgelina.  Last week, against Alcoyano, he celebrated by taking the ball, putting it under his shirt and kissing it, hinting that a little angel may be on the way!

Jorgelina is not the only person Ángel loves dearly.  In his Real… interview, he said the first thing he did when he debuted in the first division was to tell his father that he could now stop working, and when he went to Benfica, he told Miguel, “papi, I don’t want you to work anymore, you can start enjoying life a bit, for the first time.”  He also bought his mom Diana a house, and many things for his sisters Vanesa and Evelyn because “I know that when we were small, our parents had to spend the money on boots for me so that I could play, and so my sisters couldn’t buy things because the boots were expensive.”

What are your favorite Ángel di María moments?

I do love this guy a lot. And that’s despite me wanting to throttle him every time he takes an unnecessary roll OR TWO on the grass during a match. If he could just stop doing that, he would be perfect. Because let’s face it, Di is amazing player and so talented. Also, it’s great and refreshing to see a footballer so in love with his wife.

His goal in the Camp Nou!

Only Angel would have scored that goal. It was pig-headed and glorious and Angel-y.

I also secretly love the zest with which he falls to the ground, if I can call it that!

I love the effort and passion he throws into every single game he plays. even he if isnt playing so well, you can always see him give 110%.

Well ,the Barcelona players are creating their own population explosion, our Real boys have a lot of catching up to do. Personally, I would love a little Iker. I do think he would be the type to tie the knot first. Then, a mini Sergio sounds nice too…
