After seeing this picture of Álvaro and little Alba, how can you not love Álvaro Arbeloa?
Plus, I believe we have Álvaro Arbeloa to thank for getting a lot of our players on twitter, and for all the subsequent joy that has brought us. For that, we will be eternally grateful, no?

For all those reasons I adore him very much. But I adore him even more because he’s an amazing, yet underrated, player.

He’s a great Madridista. I love the fact that he supports all his teammates, and during the time of Cristiano’s ‘sad’ fiasco, he fully supported him in the media and even changed his twitter profile picture with both of them together. He’s one of Mourinho’s favourite players because Alvaro truly considers his teammates like his own family. Definitely one of my favorite players. Like Franzi mentioned, he’s underrated, I think he has great skill too.
I think my favorite reason for adoring Arbeloa (outside of being a great football player) is that he is a a bit of a geek, but proud of it. I love how he is obsessed with Game of Thrones (and of course, Gladiator) and tweets about them regularly. 🙂
And how can we ever forget ‘SPARTAAAA’!! 🙂

i love his spanglish rendition of christmas carols and playing with his sunglasses in the RM xmas outtakes video, i love how he calls everyone “imbecil”, i love his twitter and games of thrones addiction, i love how he used to play for LFC (my second-favourite team), i love his (now faded, it seems) bromance with albiol, i love how he looks good in anything from a jersey/kit to jeans and a t-shirt to a morning suit, i adore how adorable he is with carlota and alba, and i adore his grandmother, too! he is the BEST! 😀
