sunshine needed…
We have a very important game coming up on Wednesday, and we have to be positive and push aside all that negativity ahead of it. We need (Marcelo) sunshine! So, here are some adorable moments from recent days.
Roberto Carlos paid the boys a visit at Valdebebas today!
He got hugs from everyone! Looking at half of the defense that brought us La Octava makes me so nostalgic for those days! Those good days, when there was no drama on a daily basis…
He has not aged at all.
Marcelo called him the best leftback in the world and his idol. And RC returned the favor by saying “I’m your fan.” How adorable are the two of them together?
We also got a visit from Mahamadou Diarra! What a great teammate he was – remember the time he had to lend Kaká money to pay his cab fare?
He hasn’t changed at all either! And I’m so happy he’s playing again!
And where else would they go eat but Mesón Txistu?
We also had cute scenes during training sessions…
… and Karim Benzema looking quite sexy during a press conference! He also answered all the questions in Spanish (and barely needed the interpretation for the questions), which makes me really happy! When can we expect to see Karim, Rafa and Sami (and Mesut; though we haven’t heard him speaking Spanish in a press conference yet, I’m confident that all that talking with Sergio has helped him to improve – I just hope he doesn’t end up speaking Spanish with an Andalucian accent!!!!) doing the Real… interviews? Or has that been stopped with the departure of Óscar? I would like to see Aitor Karanka and Zizou in the hot seat as well.
I love how Karim was all like, “for us, Barcelona is not the favorite” and “we are united, there are no problems between us and the coach.” Amen.
And some Sunshine Junior to end things with. So young and already a hit with the ladies…
Hey. How does a andalucian accent sound like? redneck? have heard
No, just different, and at times, hard to understand.
I kinda really like the Andalucian accent. Especially from the Sevilla area. I could do with out Cadiz accents. But maybe I’m a little biased about the whole Sevilla accent…
I would like this blog more than once if I could…thanks as always for a spectacular summary of the days events including lovely photos of lovely players. PS – even casual Xabi looks perfectly dressed and coifed. Maybe he should be giving some lessons 🙂
Gracias! And re Xabi: I know!!!! (four exclamation marks.)
What a gorgeous post. RC hasn’t aged at all.
