After Cristiano scored two goals in Portugal’s win over the Netherlands, helping his country to qualify for the quarterfinals, he took off his jersey to reveal a very special dedication on his under layer. It read, “Junior, papá loves you. Congratulations.” And he also drew smiley faces as well!
Cris made sure to show off the shirt to the cameras once the final whistle blew.
After the game, Cris confirmed that it was Junior’s birthday and so the goals and his trophy as man of the match were dedicated to his son. He said, “it makes me especially happy to have achieved it for him.” I adore papá Cristiano!
I wonder how certain press outlets will spin this wonderful dedication negatively?
There was also this cute pre-game moment with his very brief former Real Madrid teammate “Welly” Sneijder.

I think CR7 has matured in the past two years. I admit the way he “bought” his son was shameful, but he seems to enjoy fatherhood now. But, I wonder what his son will think about his mom and dad when he grows up. The press says that Cristiano won’t let her see their boy even though she begs him. Who knows what the truth really is. I love CR7 as a player, but as a good human being, not so much.
@ Diane maybe you need to stop believing what the tabloids write. NO-ONE knowns anything about Cris & the child’s mother not even the tabloid papers.

What a sweet gesture from Cris! I would like to know your opinion about Cris, cause every time I’m telling my friends that he’s a big favourite from me, they are telling me he is arrogant and disgusting. Ok, sometimes he has an arrogant attitude towards the camera. But what I read from him at this website is really good! So what do you guys think?

I first thought messi was better, but when i made a list of the two of them I found out that Cris is more diverse, more complete. Messi is good in the center, passing all the defenders an making those actions himself. Cris is good at everything. Think of his free kick, his penalties(OK, this has Messi too), his counters, his surprising shots from a big distance, his fancy dribble’s, his fantastic technique. Another thing: He’s more like an athlete, too.
